Łukasiewicz – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology has unique research equipment which enables numerical and physical simulations of industrial processes, ensuring the similarity of selected process stages. Key R&D projects are implemented in direct cooperation with domestic and foreign contractors, divided into laboratory and semi-industrial research carried out at the Institute, and industrial research and implementation carried out in enterprises.

MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
Research Centres carry out advanced research in the field of intelligent mobility, aerospace and additive technologies (3D printing). Particular attention is paid to hydrogen technologies, including research on the use of hydrogen in metallurgical processes. Łukasiewicz – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology develops knowledge in the field of welding and supporting the domestic industry by providing the highest quality services in the field of joining metals and thermoplastics as well as thermal cutting and related methods in order to ensure high quality and competitiveness of welded products at home and on foreign markets.
Our experts develop new and advance and modernise existing methods of designing, constructing and testing of electrical machines.
