Certified reference materials for ROHS compliance
Łukasiewicz – GIT is a co-producer of new Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) for five different matrices (Zn, Sn, Cu, Al, Fe), developed as part of the project:
“Development of reference materials necessary for the analysis of electrical and electronic equipment introduced to the EU market regulated by the RoHS Directive”, funded by a Targeted Grant from the President of the Łukasiewicz Centre under agreement no. 1/Ł-IMN/CŁ/2020.
These materials have precisely determined, analytically and metrologically confirmed levels of elements regulated by the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. The elements standardized for Sn, Zn, Al, and Cu matrices are: Pb, Cd, Cr, and Hg, while for the Fe matrix: Cd, Cr, Pb, and As.
These reference materials fall under the accreditation scope of the Project Leader: Łukasiewicz – IMN, accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation under number RM 006.
