MSPO 2025 has come to an end, and the Łukasiewicz – GIT team leaves Kielce with the belief that technologies developed in our laboratories truly shape a safer world.
For four days, our motors, drives and nanobainitic steel armor were not just exhibits – they became starting points for cooperation, bridging science with industry, and transforming knowledge into real advantage.
A highlight was the visit of Marcin Kulasek – Minister of Science and Higher Education, along with distinguished guests from science, industry and politics including Prof. dr hab. inż. Marek Gzik, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, Member of the Polish Parliament, and Prof. dr hab. inż. Jerzy Małachowski, Director of the NCBR.
Strategic partnership
During MSPO, Łukasiewicz Research Network and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. signed a strategic partnership agreement to strengthen cooperation in R&D and accelerate technology transfer to the defence industry.
Agreement signed by:
- Hubert Cichocki, President of Łukasiewicz Centre
- Wiesław Skwarko, Vice President of Łukasiewicz Centre
- Adam Leszkiewicz, President of the Management Board of PGZ
- Jan J. Grabowski, Vice President of the Management Board of PGZ
Our innovations showcased at MSPO:
Low-magnetic motors for special applications
At MSPO we premiered new low-magnetic electric motors, designed for the domestic defence sector — especially for minehunters and vessels with high stealth requirements.
Features:
- Magnetic field below 30 nT
- Shock resistance up to 30 g
- Compact design
Ultralight LEMoK electric motors
Motors designed for ultralight aviation, VTOL, E-mobility, special and industrial drives.
The offer includes:
- Permanent magnet motors
- LEMoK IM induction motors
- LEMoK REL reluctance motors
All share a high power density and excellent efficiency.
Perforated nanobainitic steel armor
New add-on armor made of two perforated nanobainitic steel plates (2 × 9 mm), effectively deflecting projectile trajectory and fragmenting its core.
Parameters:
- Resistance: 7,62×51 AP (STANAG 4569 Level 3)
- Weight: 85–90 kg/m²
Lightweight and effective next-generation ballistic protection.
