Objective:

The project concerns the introduction of hydrogen as a zero-emission fuel in energy-intensive and high-emission industries. For this purpose, it is necessary to examine the impact of the atmosphere enriched with hydrogen fuel combustion products on individual industrial technologies and thermal processes.

The project assumes determining the significance of changing the method of firing high-temperature devices and the transition from natural gas to a mixture of gas with hydrogen or hydrogen itself and the impact of such a change on the properties of products. This is particularly important in a situation where it is necessary to use high-temperature treatment in broadly understood thermal devices, in which firing or heat treatment processes are an indispensable stage of the technological process and can have a significant impact on the quality of the manufactured components.
