From March 24 to 27, 2026, Łukasiewicz – GIT participated in the Industrial Spring 2026 Trade Fair in Kielce, with our booth No. 5-B14 serving as a hub for innovation and knowledge exchange.
Seminar: “Modern Welding Processes and Material Testing in Industry”
On the first day of the fair, we organized a seminar focused on modern methods of material joining, durability testing, and optimization of industrial processes. The event brought together experts and specialists from the industry, and our researchers presented the latest achievements in the following areas:
- Plasma powder surfacing to enhance the wear and corrosion resistance of machine parts – Mateusz Sowa, BEng, MSc,
- Efficiency of mechanized hybrid PHW welding vs. MAG welding – Adam Termin, BEng, MSc,
- Standards and regulations in hard and soft soldering – Marcin Zurek, BEng, MSc,
- Fracture mechanics and material toughness using the CTOD method – Iryna Balabańska, DEng,
- Welding of two-layer 3R12/4L7 pipes using laser technology – Michał Urbańczyk, DEng.
Our Innovations in the Spotlight
At exhibition stand 5-B14, we presented, among others, our “System for Vibration Stabilization of Metal Structures SW07”, which was awarded the Kielce Trade Fair Medal during the Official Gala of Industrial Spring 2026 as the best technology showcased at the event. The system was recognized for its practical application and tangible impact on industry, demonstrating how Łukasiewicz – GIT’s advanced joining technologies become effective tools supporting industrial operations.
The SW07 system was developed by the Welding Technologies Research Group / LBS at our Welding Center. Its development involved a team of experts from the Welding Center – M.Sc. Eng. Wojciech Oborski, M.Sc. Eng. Leszek Szubert, M.Sc. Eng. Piotr Gotkowski – as well as a team from the Drive Systems and Electrical Machines Center. The award was received by M.Sc. Eng. Marcin Zurek and M.Sc. Eng. Mateusz Sowa.

The Industrial Spring trade fair brings together various industrial sectors – from metalworking, automation, and robotics to innovations in 3D printing and welding. During the event, we also showcased our advanced joining technologies, which find practical application in modern manufacturing processes.
Our participation in the fair provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how Łukasiewicz – GIT’s innovative solutions translate into improved efficiency, quality, and safety in industrial operations.
