General information
Lukasiewicz Research Network – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Law of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The statement on accessibility applies to the website of the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology.

The website is partially compliant with the Law of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of public entities’ websites and mobile applications due to the incompatibilities or exclusions listed below.
Content not available
Some elements of the site have too low contrast for aesthetic reasons (sliders). Elements of the user interface, such as the main menu buttons, are not operable by keyboard only. Videos posted on the site do not have subtitles, audiodescription or alternative content for people with visual and hearing disabilities. Missing solutions will be systematically supplemented. Documents in PDF and DOC format published on the site are written in a way that is inaccessible to people with visual disabilities.

The declaration was made on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology.
Lukasiewicz Research Network – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology does not have a mobile application.
To the extent possible, we aim to improve digital accessibility at the Institute.

Everyone has the right:
- make comments on the accessibility of the digital site or an element of it,
- report a request to ensure the digital accessibility of the site or an element of it,
- request that the unavailable information be made available in another alternative form.
The request must include:
- contact information of the reporting person,
- Indication of the page or element of the page to which the request relates,
- request that the unavailable information be made available in another alternative form.
Consideration of the application should be carried out immediately, within 7 days at the latest. If within this period it is not possible to provide accessibility or to provide access in an alternative form, it will take place within 2 months from the date of notification at the latest.
Complaints and appeals
In the event that a public entity refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or an alternative means of accessing information, the requester may file a complaint regarding the provision of accessibility of a digital website, mobile application or an element of a website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, a request may also be submitted to the Ombudsman.

Access:
All headquarters can be reached independently or by public transportation. Access to the buildings meets the accessibility requirements for people with disabilities especially those with visual, hearing and movement deficits.
Parking:
- On the side of K. Miarki Gliwice Street on the side of building “A” there are designated parking spaces for the disabled.
- There are accessible parking lots for employees and visitors at all locations. There are no designated spaces for the disabled.
Buildings:
The number of buildings in which the entity conducts its primary operations and/or serves its customers: 24.
All facilities are protected.
There are no facilities on the premises:
- elevators and facilities for the disabled
- induction loops,
- Braille markings or contrast markings or in enlarged print for the blind and visually impaired,
- information on the layout of the rooms posted in tactile and voice form,
- An audio guidance system for the blind and visually impaired,
- sign language speaker,
- access for people using an assistance dog
- Evacuation signage for people with special needs,
- Toilets adapted for people with disabilities.
As far as possible, we aim to improve architectural accessibility at the Institute.
