We are pleased to invite you to the next edition of workshops dedicated to nuclear energy – “Nuclear Piping/Nuclear Power Plant Piping”, organized by Łukasiewicz – Upper Silesian Institute of Technology (Łukasiewicz – GIT) in cooperation with the Department of Nuclear Energy, Ministry of Energy.
The workshops will take place on May 28-29, 2026
at the Łukasiewicz – GIT headquarters in Gliwice, ul. Karola Miarki 12-14.
Who should attend?
The workshops are primarily aimed at domestic companies preparing to carry out current and planned nuclear investments in Poland and abroad – including both : small modular reactors SMR and large nuclear power plants. They are also open to all businesses interested in expanding their activities in the nuclear energy sector.
Workshop topics
Participants will learn about:
- the specifics of organizing work for nuclear power plant projects,
- preparation, welding, final processing, and quality control (NDT) of pipelines according to ASME and AFCEN codes, both in workshop conditions and on the construction site,
- maintenance and inspection of nuclear power plant pipelines during operation.

- Participation in the workshops is free of charge,
