Objectives:

  • Building the potential and implementation to the European Digital Innovation Centre (EDIH) network to strengthen digital transformation in the Silesian and Opole Voivodeships in Poland.
  • Increasing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on the global market by supporting them in the process of implementing the latest digital solutions.

Budget:

Total cost of the project: PLN 21,424,118.47

EU co-funding of the project: PLN 10,165,502.54

Target group:

EDIH-SILESIA supports industrial enterprises (SMEs) that want to conduct digital transformation using Industry 4.0 technology or are considering changing their business model and implementing smart products using digital technologies.

Actions:

EDIH-SILESIA offers training, advisory and demonstration services in three specialised pillars:

  • Automation and robotics (including artificial intelligence and machine learning),
  • Cyber security,
  • Additive technologies and new materials for 3D printing.

EDIH-SILESIA is a one-stop-shop supporting enterprises in responding to digital challenges by:

  • providing access to technical expertise and tests, as well as the test-before-invest possibility.
  • providing services in the field of innovations, such as consulting, training and development of skills that are critical to a successful digital transformation,
  • helping companies solve environmental problems, in particular the use of digital technologies for sustainable development and circularity.
