Objective:

This project uses the results of current research on the biocidal properties of materials, especially metal nanoparticles and UV-C light, and in essence concerns their use for the purpose of giving both the internal surfaces of ducts and the air distributed inside them unprecedented on the market bactericidal and fungicidal properties. One of the problems addressed during the project was the production of cathodes constituting multi-component metal alloys with photocatalytic, bactericidal, and cytotoxic properties. As part of the project, technical requirements for the system of irradiating the interior of ducts with UV-C emitters were also developed.
