Objective:
The aim of the project is to develop new Fe-based and Cu-based alloys and technologies for the production of input materials (in the form of spheroidal powders and wires) from these alloys, which will be used for the production of parts of machines operating under impact loads using additive methods.
The newly developed alloys will be characterised by a high level of mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and high susceptibility to energy absorption.
Achieving the goal of the project will be possible through the implementation of research on additive processes, the results of which will enable the design of chemical compositions of new iron-based and copper-based alloys. The knowledge obtained during the research will allow to obtain products produced using additive technologies with controlled mechanical properties.
