Emil Kr\u00f3l, DEng. an employee of the Centre for Drives and Electrical Machines at the \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Upper Silesian Institute of Technology, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation with distinction, entitled \u201cReduction of Traction Motor Noise.\u201d <\/strong> The defense took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology.<\/p>

The doctoral research was carried out between 2020 and 2025 as part of the 4th edition of the \u201cImplementation Doctorate\u201d program<\/strong>, within the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies. The dissertation received very high evaluations, and its results were recognized as a significant and valuable contribution to the development of national electromobility, particularly in the context of reducing noise generated by traction motors. <\/p>

The dissertation supervisor was Marcin Maci\u0105\u017cek, BEng, PhD, DSc, Professor at the Silesian University of Technology, while the auxiliary supervisor from \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 GIT was Robert Rossa, DEng. The thesis was reviewed by Marian \u0141ukaniszyn, BEng, PhD, DSc, ProfTit of the Opole University of Technology, Jan Zawilak, BEng, PhD, DSc, Professor at the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology, and Rafa\u0142 M. Wojciechowski, BEng, PhD, DSc, Professor at the Pozna\u0144 University of Technology. <\/p>
