The \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Upper Silesian Institute of Technology (\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 GIT) had the honor of serving as a Content Partner at the 12th Technical Conference \u201cMaintenance 2026,\u201d held in Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w.
A highlight of the event was the 4th Discussion Panel, \u201cMaintenance \u2013 Diagnostics, Repairs, Modernizations,\u201d which focused on maintenance policies and operations in power plants, as well as challenges facing the energy sector. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The panel covered key issues for the safety and stability of the Polish energy system:<\/p>

    • reactive power compensation and KSE stabilization<\/li>

      During the conference, Hanna Purzy\u0144ska, Director of the Materials Research Center at \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 GIT, also delivered a presentation entitled \u201cOperation\u2013Degradation\u2013Decision: The Basis of Material Research for the Safety of the National Conventional Power Industry,\u201d highlighting the importance of material research in ensuring reliability and safety in conventional energy production. <\/p>
