Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.  <\/em><\/p><p>\u0141UKASIEWICZ Research Network \u2013 Upper Silesian Institute of Technology is carrying out a project, co-financed from the State Budget\/Co-financed International Projects\/, &#8220;Optimisation through enhancement and utilisation of residual stress minimising process strategies&#8221; 899455-PROTEUS-RS-RFCS 20.<\/p><p>Hot rolling, cooling, and straightening processes cause a significant increase in internal stresses of long products. This, in turn, causes their deformation as a result of the relaxation of the aforementioned stress in further processing into final products.
