    Objective: <\/strong><\/p>

    As part of the project, research will be carried out on the production of nanolaminate coatings from MAX (M = Cr or Ti and A = Al) materials deposited using various methods of physical vapour deposition (PVD), and new knowledge will be gained about the mechanisms of their degradation in high temperature and atmosphere containing water vapour.<\/p>

    For the first time, three different PVD technologies available in partner institutions in Poland and Germany will be compared, including closed-cathode deposition (CHC-PVD).<\/strong><\/p>

    Coatings will be applied to substrate materials such as intermetallic TiAl alloys and SiC-SiC ceramic-ceramic composites.<\/p>

    The international cooperation between institutions from Poland and Germany on various methods of coating production gives a unique opportunity to understand the impact of numerous deposition parameters on the properties of nanolaminate MAX coatings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
