<\/p><p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p><p>The main objective of the project was to produce layers of plasma-sprayed alloys on a rhenium-modified nickel matrix (Ni-Cr-Re) and to investigate the phenomena occurring during the remelting process of these layers using concentrated high-energy beams (laser and electrons). The main advantage of the remelting technology is the possibility of obtaining coatings characterised by lack of porosity, higher hardness and wear resistance under friction conditions and better adhesion to the substrate material. <\/p><p>The project is in line with the global trend of searching for effective methods of producing wear-resistant layers under friction conditions from highly meltable metals.
